yesterday the yankees, yes network, and Continental Airlines put together an event called 'Pinstripes in the Park' to be held at Bryant Park. A free game at Bryant Park sweeeeeeeeeeeet... So I got there as soon as I got out of work. Former Yankee stars like Joe Pepitone, Jim Leyritz, Goose Gossage, and Greg Nettles were there signing autographs.. Dad got them all.. Like I said the game was free but you had to but tickets for the concession stand (a dollar a tix)but mom brought us some stuff. It all sounded pretty cool and it was except for the field in front of the stage and big screen tv which was muddy and cold. even with the blanket we brought you could still feel the mud. so ppl started getting creative and went in look for plastic bags, cardboard boxes and even went to Duane Reade and brought garbage bags to put on the ground before spreading there blankets. The first inning got off great with Jeter's Solo HR. But then things just went bad. Mussina DID NOT have his stuff today. He better have it for the next and last start of the reg season against the BoSoxs. Not even Sheff's grand salami could make the crowd feel better as the O's just pounded us.. Grr. We really can't afford to lose any games. Not if we want to make it to the playoffs.
